Race 7 – Bendigo Bank 2018 Wagga Wagga Gold Cup – This main event will be worth a total of $160,000 in prize money. Life Less Ordinary will be the favourite here after having scored a strong last start win at Flemington over 1800 metres. If he brings his city form into this race, he could well score an even bigger win here. Tally had a great run home in his last start after being blocked midway at Randwick. He then ran away to score a good win. It was his first race in 3 weeks and he has been on a well measured campaign currently and looks good for another strong race here. Self Sense is in stunning form right now, having won 4 of his last 5 races. Will very much be in the mix for the win here.
Betting: Life Less Ordinary $3.00; Tally $3.50; Self Sense $4.40; Montauk $12.00; The Getaway $16.00; Red Alto $17.00; D’beak $17.00; Mister Marmalade $26.00; Shaq $34.00; American Time $41.00; Willy White Socks $41.00; Le Cavalier $51.00; Gentleman Max $81.00; Trying $91.00.
