Race 8 – Hi Flow Industries Victory Stakes – This Group 2 sprint will be worth $200,000 in prize money. Impending will be the short priced favourite here and with the scratching of Manaya in barrier 1, will also have the rails run. Will be resuming here after a 5 month break. He’s featured in 3 of his 4 first up starts and in 6 of his 7 runs over this trip. He’s going to be very strong here and is going to take some beating on fresh legs. I Am Excitedhas been in brilliant form so far in this campaign, scoring wins in all of his first three races before running third in his last start at Randwick. His form suggests that he will be up for a big race and has the current form to get the win here. Supido has performed admirably in Melbourne against very strong fields, finishing on the tails of the features and within 2 lengths of the winners each time. Will be very strong here.
