Key Races

Race 4 – Maxfield Drilling Raider Stakes Final – This race will be the second of the two feature races, both of which will be worth $40,000 in prize money. Harjeet is the short priced favourite here as well as the form trotter here. Having won all of his last 7 races. He’s had 15 career starts, scoring 11 wins and 3 minor features. He loves racing in Tasmania and is in his element over this distance. Should prove to be a class above the rest of this field. Usain Jolt comes into this race after an improved last start where he ran second on this track after having come home in fourth in the race prior. He’s had a fortnight off coming into this and is expected to be the only trotter to pose a genuine threat to the favourite. Buster William is a consistently solid performer, scoring a last start win after having placed second in all of his 5 races prior. Will be in the mix.
Betting: Harjeet $1.05; Usain Jolt $9.50; Buster William $12.00; Sea Double Ugrant $26.00; Zhukov Leis $41.00; Williamtell $51.00; El Jays Monza $61.00.
