Key Race

Race 5 – Super Vic Greys Final – This feature race will see $17,250 in prize money up for grabs. Tritt Tritt will be the favourite here despite finishing fourth in his last start, 3 and a half lengths off the pace, after having won the race prior. He’s won 12 of his 19 career starts and is expected to return to winning form in this major race. Neo Cleo is in top form here, scoring a last start second place after having scored back to back wins prior. Loves this track and these conditions. Leprechaun Storm was greatly improved in his last start, running a solid third and within 3 lengths of the win, after having run a long way off the pace in the run prior. Expected to continue improving here and could well be in the mix. Back On Lava has traded wins and second places in his last 4 starts, comes into this race after a solid last start win.

Betting: Tritt Tritt $2.70; Neo Cleo $5.00; Leprechaun Storm $5.50; Sharp Diamond $9.00; Back On Lava $11.00; Good Luck Mark $12.00; Barcali $12.00; Jane’s Intention $14.00; Rosie Riccarton 41.00; Ruby’s Willow $41.00.
